A “shuukwin” is a traditional food storage basket made from willow leaves and branches. The salicin in the leaves and branches naturally deters insects while keeping foods like acorns clean and dry. They smell wonderful, and the fragrance of the leaves lasts for years.

Each basket is unique and there are no two exactly alike – but we sell three basic sizes; a tall basket; a shorter, wider basket; and a small basket with a lid. You may specify your preferred size and place your order here.
